Dr. Ponizova is President of the
social organization 'Rainbow', a division of the Youth for Environment and
Sustainable Development Program at Moscow State University. She received her
bachelor's, master's and doctorate in mathematics from Moscow State University,
where she was previously a researcher. Dr. Ponizova is experienced in the fields
of environmental economics and education, energy and youth movements. She has
also collaborated with the United Nations Conference on Environment and
Development (UNCED).
