Mr. Akhmedov is Director of 'Sovavto-Baku',
a Moscow filial of the International Road Transport Company. In 1992, he earned
his master's degree in economics from the Azerbaijan State Economic Institute.
He is now a post-graduate student at the Institute of Social-Economic Problems
of Population in Moscow, where his thesis is devoted to social and medical
insurance. He is interested in environmental economics and ecological insurance.
