Oksana OLENEVA has been working as
the chief of the academic department and the main scientific secretary of the
International University in Moscow, the first non-governmental university in
Russia, for 10 years. She was active in organizing the educational process and
business administration. She was one of the organizers a high-level ecological
education program at the University focused on sustainable development. She has
published various works in her field. She has a Ph.D. in biology from Moscow
State University and she is Assistant Professor of the environmental sciences
department. Dr. Oleneva played an active role in the preparation of Russia to
the WSSD. A series of materials on gender issues, civil society activity, health
and environment connection, social issues prepared by her in cooperation with
Eco-Accord NGO were included in the National Report of Russia.
