Irina TCHESNOKOVA specializes in
risk assessment as it relates to the insurance industry at the Russian Academy
of Sciences' Institute of Lithosphere. She actively participates in
international conferences and publishes articles in Russian and foreign-language
publications. She is a member of the Supreme Ecological Council, Ecological
Committee of the State Duma (Parliament) of the Russian Federation. She is also
a member of the International Committee 'Co-geoenvironment'. She is a graduate
of Moscow State University.
