Sergei KRAMOROV is the director of
mining automation at the Irkutsk regional branch of the Prokopievsk plant. He is
also president of Amythyst Ltd., invovled in explosion-proof equipment sales.
Through LEAD, he hopes to learn more about the interaction between economic and
environmental issues. He is particularly interested in programs that use foreign
and domestic loans and technical support as a means of resolving environmental
and economic problems in Russia. His master's degree in physics and computer
science is from Irkutsk State University.
