Mihran BARSEGHYAN is the Regional
Representative of Macmillan Publishers in Caucasus and Central Asia. Duties and
responsibilities - implementation of strategic plans of Macmillan Heinemann in
Caucasus and Central Asia. This includes providing of recommendations for
business development in different countries of the region, initial selection of
qualified country representatives. In case of approval of recommendations I am
coordinating opening of a new subsidiaries in different countries of the region
(since appointment on the present position 4 subsidiaries were opened in Georgia,
Tadjikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan). My present responsibilities include
also providing assistance to country representatives in developing of business
priorities, overall supervision of the activities of opened subsidiary companies,
assisting in participation on international textbook publishing tenders,
maintaining of their expense records, approving general office expenditures,
maintaining budget records, and interpreting of subsidiary activities. I am also
responsible for compiling of general reports and financial reports to
headquarters in UK
