Gulbakhor MAKHKAMOVA has been the
director of the Hudjand Center of Women 'Gulrukhsor' since 1996. The Center was
created within the framework of the LIEN - TACIS Program. She worked previously
with another NGO, the Association of Business Women, and also taught Russian
language and history.
She graduated from the philogical faculty of Hudjand State University, where she
has also pursued post-graduate work. She continues to take training courses by
SEFE method at the German Center of Technical Cooperation LUZO - Consult.
