Sergei Klado is a writer. His
novel 'Copper Vessel of Old ibn-Hottab' became a bestseller in Russia in year
2000. He is author of Russian interpretations of Roald Dahl's 'Charlie and
Chocolate Factory' and 'Charlie and Great Glass Elevator', and R. Dahl's, W.
Whitman's, E. Barrett's, W. Shakespeare's translations of poetry. He is also
author of poems, stories and essays in Russian. His story 'Without Sun' was
recently included in 'Anthology of Contemporary Russian Short Stories'.
S. Klado has a degree in history and archives from the Russian State University
for Human Science. He has experience in advertising, marketing, international
trade and journalism. He is co-author and producer for a number of documentary
films on environment, including 'The Reach of Chernobyl', 1996, first prize
winner of the International Environmental Film Festival in Minsk, 'Lizard Effect',
2002, Russian Ombudsmen Award winner and 'City of Mine' ,1997, educational
series on city environment.
